2000 Note Withdrawal: भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने19 मई को 2 हजार रुपये के नोटों को चलन से वापस लेने की घोषणा की थी. चलन में मौजूद 2,000 रुपये के नोट वापस लेने के फैसले के बाद से 30 जून तक कुल 3.62 लाख करोड़ रुपये में से 2.72 लाख करोड़ रुपये यानी 76% नोट बैंकों में वापस आ चुके हैं.

बता दें कि केंद्रीय बैंक ने 19 मई को अचानक से 2,000 रुपये के नोट को वापस लेने का फैसला किया था. लोगों से बैंक जाकर 30 सितंबर तक 2,000 रुपये के नोट अपने खातों में जमा करने या दूसरे मूल्य के नोट से बदलने को कहा गया है.

मूल्य के हिसाब से मार्च 2023 में कुल 3.62 लाख करोड़ रुपये के नोट 2,000 रुपये के थे. चलन में मौजूद 2,000 रुपये के नोट वापस लेने के फैसले के बाद 30 जून तक कुल 3.62 लाख करोड़ रुपये में से 2.72 लाख करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा बैंकों में वापस आ चुके हैं. 30 जून तक बाजार में 2000 रुपये के नोट का सर्कुलेशन 0.84 लाख करोड़ रुपये है. इसका मतबल, 19 मई 2023 के बाद से अब तक 76 फीसदी 2000 रुपये के नोट बैंकों में वापस आ गए हैं.
87% नोट बैंकों में हुए जमा
आरबीआई डेटा के मुताबिक, वापस आए 2000 रुपये के नोटों में से 87 फीसदी जमा हुए जबकि 13 फीसदी बैंक नोट एक्सचेंज किए गए. लोगों को 2000 रुपये के नोट बदलने या जमा करने का 30 सितंबर तक मौका है.

जनहित याचिका खारिज की
दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) के 2,000 रुपये के नोट को चलन से वापस लेने के फैसले को चुनौती देने वाली जनहित याचिका खारिज कर दी. मुख्य न्यायाधीश सतीश चंद्र शर्मा और न्यायाधीश सुब्रमण्यम प्रसाद ने याचिका खारिज कर दी. इससे पहले, याचिका पर 30 मई को फैसला सुरक्षित रख लिया गया था.
